Decathlon is a one stop shop for buying all kinds of sports equipments and sportswear. It even keeps organizing sports events so that one can try the products and discover the sports even if you have never tried before.

Lovely kids in a school
Reading a story to kids of class 1,2, and 3
If you want to see how innocent kids can be and how much they respect their teachers, just pay a visit to any government school. Luckily I get to visit often. This is a government school in Hikkimageri in Harapanahalli.
You get impressed by the way they wish you as soon as you enter the class room. They are so well behaved, disciplined, I was just taken a back.
What a great job the teachers are doing in providing them a solid base. Hats off!

Pretty girl from Nepal
Pretty child
While on my way back to Bangalore from New Delhi, this little gal from Nepal accompanied by her father was one of our co-passengers. She was the centre of attraction among all with her cute looks and her pranks.
Just two years of age, and she liked to do all things herself, without any support from her father.
She was literally scared of none, walking along by herself, reaching upper berths all alone.
Though a Nepali, she could speak few Kannada words, influence of staying in Karnataka.
By the time we reached Bangalore, she was friendly with all the co-passengers. While leaving, I could not resist myself from taking a pic of hers. Here it is.

Gandhi Smriti
Gandhi Smriti which is housed in the Old Birla House on 5, Tees January Marg, New Delhi, is the place where Mahatma Gandhi's epic Life ended on 30 January 1948. Mahatma Gandhi had lived in this house from 9 September 1947 to 30 January 1948. Thus, the hallowed house treasures many memories of the last 144 days of his life. The Old Birla House was acquired by the Government of India in 1971 and was converted into a National Memorial of the Father of the Nation and was opened to the public on August 15, 1973.

Hariammana Halli
A small village in Davanagere district, Hariammana Halli is my maternal grandmother's native. Paid a visit to this place, where the four stones engraved with figures of sun, moon , OM placed in four directions were recently discovered.
I was curious to visit the place, where none from our community live, and those who live there were unaware of the existence of such stones. We did perform puja also there.
